Lemonweir Valley Telephone Announces New Branding Name, Logo
And Communication OfferingsLemonweir Valley Telephone Company, upon entering its second century of service, announces new brand identification for its communication service offerings.
“Our company’s new branding names of Lemonweir Valley Telcom, along with a stylized version of our Lynxx logo, are showcased in a marketing campaign launching March 1st,” announced Jim Costello, General Manager of Lemonweir Valley Telephone Company and LVT Corp. “The springing Lynx cat depicted in the logo brings new life to our Lynxx branding efforts, supporting our new corporate tag line, Bound for Great Communications.”
Included with this announcement is the company’s unveiling of unsurpassed Internet service speeds, up to 3 Meg in the City of New Lisbon and Village of Camp Douglas, with up to 1.5 Meg in the surrounding areas. Another important component is unlimited long distance phone service as part of a new bundle of services.
“Lynxx and Lemonweir Valley Telcom are more than just our brand names,” explained Costello. “They represent the changing nature of our business. While we celebrate Lemonweir Valley Telephone Company’s 100th anniversary this year, our customers recognize that our business is no longer just telephone. Today, it’s a convergence of voice, Internet, digital TV and a host of other service packages and updated communication features. Lemonweir Valley Telcom represents our new century of service,” he explained. “The redesigned Lynxx logo is a visual representation of this evolution, as well. We use the Lynx cat for this branding logo because it is native to Wisconsin and known for being strong, quick and agile — attributes of our communication services that are made possible by use of state-of-the-art technologies.”
Lemonweir Valley Telephone Company initiated the Lynxx branding name and its original Lynxx logo a few years ago, using it to market the products and services of its wholly owned subsidiary, LVT Corp. Recent changes to telecommunication law now allow Lemonweir Valley Telephone Company and LVT Corp. to market their services under one branding name, doing business as Lemonweir Valley Telcom “It helps eliminate confusion for the customer, added Costello. “Our company has successfully developed from a single-service telephone company to a multi-service broadband communications provider. This provides our customers with the advantage of having higher-speed Internet, digital TV and voice with unlimited long distance all delivered on one bill by a single, locally-based provider.”
Doing business as Lemonweir Valley Telcom does not represent a change to the corporate entities of either Lemonweir Valley Telephone Company or LVT Corp. Both corporations continue to exist in their present form. Lemonweir Valley Telephone Company, which began providing telephone service to the area in 1907, remains an independent, stock held communications company headquartered in Camp Douglas, WI. It subsidiary, LVT Corp., is co-located in the same business office.
Expansion into New Areas
Along with providing diversified communication services, Lemonweir Valley Telcom has expanded its geographic service area for high-speed Internet. “Customers want local, personalized service for high-speed Internet. We are answering that demand with our wireless High Speed Internet service in Mauston, Tomah and Sparta. Lemonweir Valley Telcom is offering this fast, secure Lynxx Wireless Internet,” added Costello.
“Our Lynxx Wireless Internet service includes all the equipment needed, delivered with Lynxx personalized installation and support,” he said. “It is important for customers to have a community-based provider for high-speed Internet.”
